A season of change…
We enter our new financial year every October but this year in particular has been a busy time across the business, Sean Baxter and Steve Gabell have been settling into their new director roles putting strategy in place for short, mid and long term goals.
Sean Baxter said: “It’s been an exciting time and although it’s early days we have already put into motion positive changes. For example we have decided to ruthlessly implement a paperless office, which has been a challenge for some! We will proactively continue to ebb away at the business activity to see how electronic we can become with our production.
In terms of long term goals, we have met with our team and discussed what we want to do as a business and how we will get there. We are confident everyone is on board and this gives all of us a boost and a sense of direction as we head into our new year”
Steve Gabell said: “We know the direction we want the business to take and plan to continue to grow our customer base and sales but at the same time ensuring we remain true to our roots as being customer focused and absolutely committed to this. There is a lot to do, but we look forward to the challenge.”
Christmas!
Both Taunton and Wellington had their Christmas lights switch on last weekend so we feel we are able to use this word now! It’s a busy time for us, suppliers and customers like Maiden Dorset who supply curved model candle collection’s from their West Country facility in some very classy corrugated gift hampers!

Health and Safety.
In October we successfully passed our 5 Star Audit which certifies us in customer relations, employee relations, health and safety, quality and hygiene and supplier relations.
We have installed a pedestrian warning system in our warehouse which sets off an audible and visual alarm to forklift drivers when someone enters the area.
Deliveries.
Congratulations to Gary Willes our Transport and Warehouse Supervisor who has set some very impressive delivery figures on time in full figures at 100% in October and November looks to be holding up nicely, an excellent effort.
Other News.
Congratulations to our designer Sonya Conway and her new husband Alex Conway for tying the knot on 8th October, and great to see that some corrugated made it into the celebrations which formed the basis of this frame!
