This year, we were privileged to be part of one of the projects run by leading loneliness charity the Marmalade Trust. The Charity helps to raise awareness for loneliness and reaches out to thousands of people to help support and find new social connections. The lead up to Christmas at RH fibreboard is always a challenging one as our customers are looking to get their products packed and delivered in our boxes and cardboard packaging. Many of our clients have been developing new products such as advent calendars that hold alcoholic drinks, or small gift pack designs for foods and seasonal gifts. However the lead up for some individuals at Christmas can be challenging and the Marmalade trust actively help to bring festive cheer and companionship to those struggling with isolation and loneliness.

We manufactured and donated 250 boxes to distribute their Connection Advent Calendars, which included a number of other items donated from businesses and organisations including gifts made by children, toys and activities to help those in need. These packs are just one way the Marmalade Trust are reaching out to those who need distraction, company and kindness, and to be kept busy in periods of isolation.
